He studied and worked with Oleguer Junyent between 1945 - 1948.
His work is influenced by expressionism, acquiring more decorative tones through intensive colours. His work has undergone different stages, naïf, expressionism, cubism and realism.
Skilful with drawing, in this beginnings he did many notes and sketches related to dance, music-hall and ballet, frequenting various Barcelona theatres.
He constructs his work from an aesthetic base. He creates an atmosphere of neo-romanticism, adolescent figures, urban themes, interiors, jazz orchestras, configure in a pictorial universe where there is not lack of structural solidity hovering between rigidity and a sensation of movement giving it life.
